This is a family owned business for 3 generations. We are a Veteran-Owned very Small Business (VOSB), we were founded in 1926 by my Grandfather, Fredrick Kraissl Jr., P.E., and have been family-owned ever since. We employ approximately 21 personnel in both our office and our machine shop factory here in Hackensack, NJ. Kraissl Company is a registered ''C'' corporation in New Jersey State.We are a long-time, well known Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of many pipeline products including simplex and duplex strainers, filters, transfer (diverter) valves, and oil transfer pumps for pipeline service. Many Kraissl Simplex and duplex strainers are U.L. Listed for fuel oils in pipeline service, and are the only ones known to be as such in the marketplace. Our durable, high-quality products are made of metal castings in Cast Iron, Bronze, Steel and Stainless Steel, and occasionally Aluminum. All are customer-specified for pipeline service, including low pressure, suction, and very high pressure applications on fuel-oil, lube-oil, water, petrochemical lines, heat-transfer oil, steam, and many other fluid applications. Our customers are often other OEMs, both small and large, who incorporate our products into their pipeline designs. Total Annual Net Sales volume is about $ 2.4 million. Our marketplace is a very vertical one, often involving 2 or 3 levels of resale. Our entire product line is proprietary, and the designs are created and owned by Kraissl Company. We only manufacture our own designed products, and note other. We only warranty, service or repair our own products if returned to us, and no one else's. Raw metal castings are purchased from outside, independent foundries who cast our parts by pouring molten metal into sand cavities of our designs.
