Not often comes on the market a chance to buy your own stream including a fully automated hi-tech processing line, basically a working turnkey business.
The business was established as a Health supplement retail business in 2002 in Tiszafured, Hungary. In 2007 came the idea to make use of the pure drinking water found on the owner's property which comes up from an 80 meters deep well. The current owner and founder, Dr Viktor Szalay, originally an internal medicine specialist doctor, got the water tested by the Hungarian Food and Nutrition Research centre, which on the basis of the results approved the pH9 water for human consumption.
The business is sold as freehold, includes the plot and all buildings on it, the water source (well), stock at the time of sale, all equipment, factory lines and packaging machinery, 2 vans, 2 cars, forklift, pallet trucks, etc., basically everything to carry on with the business the very next day after the previous owner leaves.
The reason for the sale is genuine; the owner is retiring from business. The current production is around 500,000 litres per year however the line is capable of producing 2.5 million litres of water per year with the current setup. There are 6 employees working for the firm at present, obviously larger production will require to increase this number.
There is also a distribution contract in place which was signed in November 2015 between the company and a German distributor who's agreed to exclusively supply the whole of Germany, Austria and Holland. This contract also comes with the sale of course. The product was also tested by the Swiss authorities and the document is available on request. The company has a few white label contracts too, and the water is retailed mainly by various health shops at the moment in Hungary, Romania, Germany, Austria, Holland and Switzerland.
