El Aprisco was bought as a vacation home from a French family, and it has become one of the prefered places in Guatemala to do social gatherings and get away from the city.

El Aprisco has the commitment to provide its guests with a serene place for a large variety of corporate, social, educational and spiritual events. El Aprisco has a hotel with comfortable, fully equipped rooms. Most rooms currently have 4, wood bunk beds, and a few have queen size bedrooms. Fully equiped, each room has a unique decoration where modern meets rustic.

It is a truly unique place. There is one main house, which hosts the manager's office, and a place to do bridal showers and other meetings. It has a colonial charm. There are 3 bungalows, with three rooms each, and a capacity of 96 guests, built next to the main house, at a lower level, which has been the main host for many retreats.

The main hotel building was built on higher ground in 2007, and it is a favorite of many guests. It has capacity for 80 people, with one main conference room that sits 100 people. The room is surrounded by windows that show the beautiful Guatemalan landscape, with a spectacular view of volcanoes.

There is also a two story chapel. The first floor is majestic. The ceilings are pure wood, the corridor is rustic with a wall, water fall next to it sitting 250 people. The second floor sits up to 50 people. The coffee shop/ restaurant is located in one of the main building's first floor. This is open to the general public in weekends. There is also a security/employees house fully equipped.
