There is a combined kitchen, dining and lounge area complete with a gas operated fire which provides for a very warm and cosy atmosphere. Shared Bathroom and Toilet facilities.

The on-site Managers accommodation comprises a two bedroom flat with kitchen/lounge. The bathroom features a shower over a bath and there is a laundry.

Wanaka is a popular destination all year round but in particular over the winter when skiers from all around the world converge on the area. The Matterhorn South Lodge & Backpackers is a popular choice of accommodation and enjoys good all year round business with strong trading over the winter and summer periods.
